Omaya Yachts launches the OMAYA 50 at Cannes Yachting Festival

Today, Bulgarian luxury catamaran manufacturer OMAYA Yachts unveiled its debut model, the OMAYA 50, at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival in a world premiere.

The OMAYA 50 has been shortlisted for the 2025 World Yacht Trophies in the Best Exterior Design in the Catamaran category, with the winners announced at Cannes Yachting Festival this Saturday. The yacht is redefining modern multihull cruising with a sleek design, comfort at the forefront, and exceptional performance capabilities.

Crafted with precision at the esteemed Elica Yard along the banks of the Danube, the OMAYA 50 is distinguished by its unmatched beam of 8.4 metres, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional qualities of the yacht. It boasts expansive lower decks and a customisable salon that promises unparalleled comfort and luxury.

“Having visited Cannes Yachting Festival for the last seven years, I’m so excited to be here hosting and showcasing our debut to the yachting world. We didn’t want to be another dreamer in the industry, and having the infrastructure to fulfill our orders after launching plans was a priority. When we launched the brand in 2024, we already had four dealers on board, the moulds and first hull completed, it was important we took the time to get the design right before launching.
“This yacht represents the values of the whole Elica Group, with a focus on quality and the client relationship as they become part of the OMAYA family.”

With the ability to host up to ten guests and additional crew, the yacht ensures every journey is a lavish, comfortable experience.

The OMAYA 50 integrates several innovative features to enhance both functionality and comfort. It boasts a high/low aft platform, allowing for seamless access to the water. The flybridge is remarkably spacious, providing an elevated panoramic view that is perfect for relaxation and social gatherings. The flybridge also features twin staircases for easy access and optimal flow throughout the vessel
